BARCA SR is an extended release tablet containing 600 mg of etodolac as the active ingredient. After the extended-release tablet is taken orally, it is slowly released in the body and takes effect throughout the day. Thus, taking 1 tablet a day is sufficient. BARCA SR is in the group of drugs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) used in the treatment of conditions characterized by inflammation. BARCA SR is used in the treatment of the following diseases:
• In the treatment of signs and symptoms of joint diseases such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
• In the treatment of acute gouty arthritis (also known as drop or rich disease), acute musculoskeletal pain, post-operative pain (pain after surgical procedures) and dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation in women)
